“Cannes” is translated from French like “reeds”. But that’s no big surprise. According to one of the versions the reeds used to form a thick ring around this land. Today it’s a paradise for those who love a luxurious resorts and the first-class shopping. A colorful symbol, so called vitrine of Cannes, is the Promenade de la Croisette.
