Jordan

Jordan has been in the spotlight since antiquity. The route of rich caravans that carried spices from South Arabia ran here. Trade routs from India ran across Jordan too. The Arabian conquerors, Christian crusaders, and Ottoman janissaries set foot here.

Modern Jordan is a country that hypnotizes with its beauty and charms with its contrast landscapes. There are fertile valleys full of life and colours and grand silent canyons. The history of the state is eventful! Righteous Lot with his daughters hid in Jordan after destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Jesus was baptized here, Herod, the king of Judaea, visited mineral springs. Jordan is a wonderful country. A trip to Petra is very interesting; it’s a city carved in the rocks many centuries ago. And if you like the underwater kingdom of the sea creatures, the best choice is to visit a Jordanian city Aqaba.
